Better Body, Better Me, Better Baby

Lost 9 pounds and 13 inches
Before

I have always been very active, but I was never really in great shape. At 43, I finally decided it was time to shape-up and focus on getting physically fit and healthy by sticking to a fitness program and by following the nutrition plan. Well, the truth is that when I started, I was only intending to just follow the exercises however I realized after reading the nutrition guide that I was eating all of the wrong foods. It was such an eye opener that I threw out practically everything in my refrigerator. I have been on a rampage ever since. I love my results, and love Shakeology, a once a day superfood shake. I look forward to seeing my body transform even more as I continue this journey. I can't believe I'm getting better results than when I went to the gym. Although my goal was not to lose a lot of weight, I ended up losing 9 pounds and have lost a total of 13 inches. I have made a lifestyle change and it has become my passion to now coach others through their own transformation journey. It all starts with making a commitment. I look forward to posting more pictures as time goes on.

Having more natural energy has made it so much easier keeping up with my now 10 month old. She is  inquisitive, and wants to tough everything. I am also glad to be an example to her on how to eat right, stay healthy and play hard. She is taking swimming lessons, swinging in her own swin, and she absolutely loves Elmo.

Full of Love

We are so blessed!  Our little cutie-tutie is 8 months old today. Alexa has such a sweet disposition. She loves to give kisses and hugs. We have developed a routine before bed of picking-up each of her stuffed animals one-by-one so she can hug them. She also loves to laugh. She laughs at the dogs, she laugh's at Daddy's funny faces and sometimes she laughs at nothing. She has never been a fussy baby. Even through her latest teething phase, she was in good spirits. She has five teeth already. I am completely mesmerized by everything she does.

Alexa has yet to crawl. In fact, I think she might be one that skips crawling altogether. I expect her to be walking in no time. She is right on track with developmental milestones and once again has surpassed the height and weight averages. She is in-between sizes 12 to 18 months.

She says Mama, Dada, and tries to copy the sounds that we make. Our hearts are full of love for our little girl.
